E334 Acide L(+)-tartrique, Acide L(+)-tartarique
Tartaric acid is an acid naturally present in fruits. It is also found in wine, made from grapes. It is mainly used as an antioxidant (fats and oils, but also preserves, vegetables, fish ...) and as an acidity regulator (candy, jellies, jams ...). Its consumption does not raise any particular concern.
